Punching Pandas
Karate Classes with Life and Safety Skills for children aged 5½ - 7 years.
Our unique Character Building Program for children aged 3 - 14 years, also extends to this group of students aged 5½ - 7 years.
Punching Pandas are a gateway between Lil’Dragons and Nifty Ninjas. Children often only need to spend a few months in Punching Pandas (on average 9 months) before they will be ready to cope with the demands of the Nifty Ninja classes and curriculum.
Punching Pandas will collect reward stickers for various achievements and skills they learn in addition to their martial arts.
Progression in Punching Pandas are by pre-kyu grades (stripy belts) and a child must attain a black stripe belt before being able to enter the Nifty Ninja classes as well as a minimum age of 7. In exceptional circumstances this age limitation will be waived.
Classes will only be 30 minutes long and priced at the same price as the Lil’Dragons, but the content will be varied and more intense.
Children will be required to learn the following basic moves and execute them correctly before entering the Nifty Ninja classes.
