BBC Essex Sports Awards 2009
Chief Instructor, Landé Fourie, was crowned BBC Essex Sports Personality of the Year 2009 at a prestigious gala event at the Waterfront, Chelmsford, on 11th November 2009. Landé did not expect to win the awards and therefore did did not take her camera to the event and have to rely on others for their photographic memories of the evening.
A big thank you to the sponsors of the award, Essex and Suffolk Water, as well as the prizes received. Also thank you to those who provided some footage and permissions to share your photos.
During the BBC Essex Sports Awards for 2010,held at the Rayleigh Mill, on 10th November Landé received a highly commended SPORTS COACH OF THE YEAR award.
